Support for TomTom GO mobile and other navigation apps

Post by harpix »

Please implement navigation support for the TomTom GO mobile app, as the old TomTom app is discontinued. Also, support for the Norwegian navigation app "Gule Sider Navigasjon" would be excellent, as it is the best free app out there :)

TomTom GO does not provide a url scheme which is mendetory to send a coordinate to it. So I can´t add it as a navigation app to L4C. I regular watch on their website if they added on and as soon as they did I will add it to L4C.

I visited the page of Gule Sider today and also did not found a url scheme for this app. Maybe if they have one (and I don´t find them because of the language barrier) you can add it in the configuration under "Links". This function has the ability to add own apps as navigation apps if they habe a url scheme.

I have now been able to activate Tomtom Go IOS (Apple Iphone) with the information found on the following website:
https://discussions.tomtom.com/en/discu ... s/p1?new=1

To make this work do the following in L4Cpro
In the "settings" "links" page choose "new link"
Use a linkname like f.i "TTgo"
put the following text in the URL box
tomtomgo://x-callback-url/navigate?destination=[LATITUDE],[LONGITUDE]
put a mark on "to navigate" and "from waypoints"
and it works fine
From a cache page in L4C select Navigate and you will now find an option to select TTgo
and navigate to the cache by TTgo
Have fun

Do you know if there is a similar link scheme to transfer the cache co.s to the TomTom MyDrive app?

The transfer from MyDrive to the GO5200 works fine.

Also I have used the transfer from L4C to the Scout navigation app.

But we could not find a link scheme L4C --> MyDrive... ?

It is easy to add new navigation links in L4C.

But now, from unsuccessful trials I have a long list of useless links.

How can I remove those links?
